About Me

Hi there!

I’m a qualified teacher with a BA/BEd (Hons Class 1) from USYD. I'm incredibly passionate about education and love helping students achieve and exceed academic goals through tutoring.

I am highly experienced, and have been tutoring for seven years both online and face-to-face and during this time, have supported over 100 students in English (from primary up to Extension 2), Maths (K-8 only), Ancient, Modern and Extension History, Music (including piano tuition and AMEB exam prep), Italian, and Studies of Religion.

I am also well-versed in NAPLAN, Scholarship/OC Test, the Selective Schools Test, and AMEB Theory/Musicianship and have prepared many students for these exams in the past.

I have also taught in public, Catholic and independent schools and have experience teaching English, Modern History and Religion across Years 7-12.

My students have come from a range of schools including North Sydney Boys, Manly Selective, Sydney Grammar, Pymble Ladies College, Ravenswood, SHORE, Joeys, Loreto Normanhurst + Kirribilli, Abbotsleigh, Ascham, Monte, Barker, Knox Grammar, Trinity Grammar, St George Girls... among many others.

As a teacher, I have worked extensively alongside experienced HSC teachers and HSC markers and thus have some great insider knowledge on what markers are really looking for. I know what it takes to achieve strong results, from both a student's and a teacher's perspective. As a tutor, I aim to help my students achieve, and exceed, their academic goals. From topping the class, to passing the next exam - my lessons use carefully tailored and differentiated teaching strategies to ensure my students achieve their best.

My lessons are typically 1:1 however if you would like a small group lesson with some friends then we can arrange that as well!

I believe that tutoring is just as important for the parent as it is for the student and thus, I endeavour to keep parents informed every step of the way with regular updates and communication.

I also offer an essay marking service in which I am able to provide extensive written feedback and an estimated mark. This is free of charge for my regular students however it does incur a small fee if I don't normally see you for lessons.

I'm also happy to provide feedback on major works for English Extension 2, History Extension and Music. This is free of charge for my regular students however it does incur a small fee if I don't normally see you for lessons.

All lessons via Zoom only.

$75/hour for high school
$65/hour for primary school
$40/hour per student for small group lessons
$15 for essay/major work feedback if not a regular student

My timeslots do fill up very quickly so please get in touch as soon as possible to secure a place.
