About Me

Hi! I am a music specialist teacher, mostly because I love music and I love to teach; I have been doing this for 25 years.
The instruments I specialise in are: Voice, Piano, Guitar, Cello, Viola and Violin, as well as Music Theory and Speech and Drama. I work with the AMEB (Australian Music Education Board) syllabus which starts at Preparatory (after new Beginner) and goes through Grade 1 to 8, after which students can go on to WAAPA, QUT or just about any other Tertiary Performance study programme, or they can sit their letters to teach (one or two extra exams after Grade 8).
I know this syllabus very well, as I have been teaching it for the last eight years here in Australia, and prior to this in New Zealand in Trinity College London and ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) upon which AMEB is based.
I have some references on my LinkedIn page: Geri (Wyles) Bugler so you can read what other people have to say about me.
