Below is information regarding my teaching experience in Music, and also Street Dance Popping.
My name is Jason and I have been playing the clarinet and saxophone for over 12 years since I was a child. Having learnt under renowned teachers such as Mark Walton, I have established a passion for performance, completing AMusA (Associate Diploma in music) in my woodwind instruments. Upon beginning my tertiary studies, I was offered a position in the Bachelor of Music (performance) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Having over 5 years in music teaching experience, I am able to confidently take students through both AMEB & Trinity exams, and also Eisteddfods and various music competitions. I am extremely friendly, outgoing and always ready to express myself!
Furthermore, I teach private Popping lessons. This is commonly seen as a robotic-like dance. I have competed all over Sydney in crews and individually. I am a Vice President of Macquarie Dance Academy, a crew/society that has won and placed in multiple dance competitions across Sydney. My classes are very friendly and interesting, and am willing to cater to different individuals.
My rates are $60/hr, $45/45min, $30/30min. Generally quite flexible with days but best to discuss over the phone :)
I'm located at Baulkham Hills in a very calm and serene suburb.
