About Me

Hi, my name is Jessica and I’m currently studying Biomedical Science in the pre-medical major at Bond University.

I currently tutor students across all levels of English, mathematics (K-10), chemistry, biology, and physics (including specialised exams, such as NAPLAN, and QCS) - inclusive of International Baccalaureate (IB) students. In addition to this, I also believe it’s vital for students to develop core life skills used for tertiary studies and future employment. As of this, I also offer to help students improve skills such as: critical thinking, problem solving skills, time management and organisational skills, public speaking and presentation skills, interpersonal skills, and creative thinking. I can provide online and direct tutoring, for both individuals and groups. I have personally found that by teaching these skills, students have improved academically and developed character.

I can also provide worksheets, booklets, and models to help students reach their full academic level; as well as assisting students throughout the weekday (outside of sessions) to alleviate any assessment anxiety.

I have previously tutored from grades K – 12, over a course of three years. To further attribute to my qualification as a tutor, I graduated high school with an ATAR 95.50 (OP 3). Throughout grade 11, I had also studied two semesters of a Bachelor of Chemistry (undergraduate) at Griffith University and completed a Diploma in Business in grade 12. Most recently, I was offered the opportunity to study medicine at Oxford University (England) for two weeks in their summer school program next year.

Please contact me for pricing. Thank you for your time and consideration, I hope to hear from you soon.

Testimonials:
"I've been tutored by Jess through my last year in high school and she's helped me not only bring my grades up to where I wanted them to be in English and biology, but also helped me in my university applications. She puts in a lot of effort in explaining concepts to me as well as giving me extra work to help me practice for exams even outside of the time she tutors me" - Sarah M. (05/09/2017)
