About Me

I am currently a primary years teacher and able to tutor students of all ages with flexible arrangements.

I have an passion for learning which I foster and develop in all my students and is exemplified in my own learning portfolio. I continue to pursue further education for myself as I believe their is no limit to learning. I have several degrees including:

Bachelor of Commerce (Financial Planning) - Deakin
Bachelor of Arts (Philosophy & Literature) - Deakin
Graduate Diploma of Teaching and Learning - USQ
Bachelor of Arts Honours (Philosophy & Creative Writing) - University of Melbourne
Masters of Arts (Professional and Applied Ethics) - University of Melbourne
Doctor of Philosophy - Monash University*

I am able to teach students of all ages, whether in a specific learning area, for a specific purpose (exam), or for all round improved learning outcomes. I can help you child achieve academic excellence and outstanding work ethic. With my tutoring services your child will receive expert advice, utilise quality resources, and may be provided with extension projects and additional homework if desired.

My specialist field in my own studies is Philosophy, and combined with my teaching pedagogy, I am working towards developing a Philosophy for Children program. While this program is still in its incipient stages, it is available as part of my overall tutoring service. I can teach and tailor my Philosophy program to students of primary, secondary or undergraduate levels. Philosophy is the promotion of critical thinking which is valuable for all academic and social aspects of life, and will be an invaluable contribution to your child's education.

I am available for flexible time arrangements including after school or weekends, as well as flexible location arrangements including your house, study or a local library.

$90 per hour, with flexible agreements for multiple children, dependant on circumstances.

"It is not what you do for your children, but what you have taught them to do for themselves, that will make them successful human beings."
