My name is Austen, and I am 20 years old currently in my second year studying Bachelor of Law and Arts (Politics/History) at Monash University. I moved to Melbourne in 2017 from country Victoria to pursue tertiary education after taking a gap year in 2016 to work full-time in a local law firm and tutor privately.
In 2015 I achieved a 94.00 ATAR – my highest study scores being a 44 in English and a 48 in Drama. Soon after, I received direct entry into Monash Law school where I now study. I am a personable, fun, knowledgeable and trustworthy person that will offer you an exciting and enjoyable environment to learn.
I believe that my fresh perspective and first-hand experience as a past VCE student now at university is the most valuable form of mentoring for VCE students. I am excited to share my experience and advice to help you get where you want to go.
After graduating VCE in 2015, I took a gap year during which I privately tutored around 10-15 students throughout the year. I continued to mentor in a more personal setting with 1-2 students in 2017 when I was available during the university year, and continue to tutor today upon request.
In 2015 I achieved a 94.00 ATAR – my highest study scores being a 44 in English and a 48 in Drama. Soon after, I received direct entry into Monash Law school. I hold a Certificate 3 in Business Administration and am in the process of obtaining accreditation with Australian Tutor Association as an accredited non-teacher.
