Hi my name's Coen, I'm a music lover and science major from the University of Technology Sydney. I've been tutoring and teaching math, science and music for over two years and I've loved every second of it. I pride myself on my method of teaching through understandings and applications of simple mechanics rather than excessive practice. I find the satisfaction of students achieving results this way is more than enough to push them to the next level. This principle applies to all faculties and subjects, and I enjoy nothing more than helping students reach their highest potential using it.

Bass being my main instrument, I have a plethora of tips, tricks and teaching for all levels of bass players. My experiences across all genres, from jazz to funk to rock, suits students from any background no matter what they wish to learn and how they wish to learn it. Bass students will learn the theories and practices that make a great bass player, as well as the techniques and skills that make a bass player great.
As an enthusiastic guitarist of seven years, I'm able and enthusiastic to teach students anything from simple chords, fretting exercises and scales to advanced stylistic techniques, improvisational methods and the applications of music theory. Guitar students will find me encouraging of individuality and style unlike many conventional music teachers.
