About Me
Hi there!
I am a capable university student with positivity towards learning and an excellent work ethic. In year 11, I studied 3/4 Maths Methods as well as 3/4 Biology. I was awarded dux of 3/4 Methods at Firbank Grammar, received a 45, and a 41 in Biology. These study scores indicate that I placed in the top 8% of the state. In Year 12, I studied Specialist Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Literature, and am a straight A/A+ student. I was awarded dux of 3/4 Physics and the Noel Clamp Memorial Prize for Science, Mathematics, and Technology. I am currently studying Biomedical Engineering at Monash University.
I am passionate about my subjects, am patient and kind, and care deeply about my students' progress. I have a focused work ethic, high standards, and I always strive for the best. I have a way with words which allows me to explain difficult concepts in a way that is easy to understand, following this with examples, and finally helping the student to solve problems of their own until the concept is understood.
My hands-on, involved approach to teaching is suitable for years 7-10 and VCE students, as well as interested primary school students. I am happy to assist with any school-level maths, excluding VCE Further Maths (as I didn't take this subject. I can tutor Maths Methods and Specialist Maths). Please contact me via message if you would like to discuss different hours (I am flexible), see my resume, or ask anything at all!
