Currently I am a registered nurse working at The Alfred Hospital as a Clinical Nurse Educator for the Cardiac and Respiratory wards. Prior to this role I worked for 2 years as a Graduate Support Nurse, helping nurses in their first year of registration to adapt to working in an acute metropolitan hospital. My work in both of these roles requires skill in facilitating education in both a classroom setting and at the bedside. I have also worked for many years in the critical care setting as a Cardiac Clinical Nurse Specialist.
My education includes a postgraduate critical care certificate, and completed my undergraduate degree with high distinction. I have also completed an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science, giving me a strong knowledge of pathophysiology above and beyond what the Nursing degree offers.
